Employment Lawyer Steve Cahn explains that At Will Employees can be fired for any reason or for no reason, as long as they are not fired for an illegal reason. It is illegal for an employer to terminate At Will Employees for Age Discrimination, Gender Discrimination, or Race Discrimination. Other than protection from unlawful termination, an At Will Employee has very little job protection.
